Apollo
Apollo is a 9-month-old puppy, but he is already about 40 kg. Certainly, its growth will continue for the coming months and is expected to reach 50 kg.
The characteristics of the giant breed he belongs (Greek Shepherd) are not easily handled in urban environment.
Considering that Apollo's handlers are 3 girls, while the youngest being 12 and the oldest 19 years old, most people would think that we have a guaranteed recipe for failure.
The video that follows is part of our 3rd lesson, just 2 weeks after we started training.
In these 2 weeks, Apollo managed to control his impulses close to other dogs, something that seemed impossible a few days ago. He performs routine exercises with basic positions such as walk with me, sit, down and look at me, at a short distance from another dog as he completely ignores it.
The handlers are following our instructions very well and Apollo has started to keep up with the program. I am sure that if they show the consistency and continuity needed, then they will win the bet for a pleasant and safe life together.
