Blackie

Blackie is a happy and joyful dog. She has a balanced life without particular problems. Probably she had a bad experience at the vet, and she shows aggression during every visit.

Her family asked professional help to overcome her stress, so she can complete her exams and vaccines. We made a plan for 3 appointments and today was the first session. We have spent most of the time to make her feel comfortable around the muzzle which is necessary for the safety of the handler and the vet. During our coming sessions we will make steps towards conditioning the area close to the vet.

The difficult part of this procedure is up to the handlers and every success would be mainly their achievement.

PS A professional trainer can prepare a vet visit for most dogs easily, but he will not always be there. The goal is the handler to actively participate and lead the procedure.
